Summer Holiday Essentials, Let's Pack!

Hello everyone! We know, packing for some people is fun! Yet, the rest of us also think that packing is exhausting. Too many things to be carried! Traveling is very exciting, and my favorite holiday destination is beach. This holiday, i think i am not going to any other beach :( Next year perhaps!

This post will give you ideas on what you gonna need to bring when you are going to beach. Easy, compact and hopefully light! ;)

Both sunblock are very soft on skin, it stays longer and they don't make you fill like you are wearing an invisible cream mask.

Right: Cetaphil Face Cleanser for All Skin Types 

You can use your spray sunblock to add protection for skin. Your skin MUST be protected. You don't want your skin got burned. After a long day, don't forget to clean your face using Cetaphil. This cleanser is good and soft for your skin, yet it suits all skin types. You can share the cleanser with your family or friends!

You really need to bring your moisturizer with you, yo prevent a very dry skin of your face.  I really love this moisturizer from Hazeline, it suits me best and my skin is hydrated and feels super soft whenever i put this on.

Holiday at beach, we only need some simple makeup. because hot and humid weather would literally make your heavy makeup fade :D Bring your favorite mascara, eyeliner, eyebrow pencil, lip balm, etc. Let our natural beauty shines.

Mango "Delibrium" Eau de Toilette Natural Spray

I got this perfume as my birthday present from my auntie. It smells very fresh like roses, and it comes with super cute packaging in pink! The bottle itself is so cute too, with a ribbon on the top. The smell is not "too heavy" for outdoor activities, where your perfume's smell could mixed up with the sun's smell. If you like perfumes with fresh smell, i totally recommend this!

The things you would like to bring. A comb, a shaving tool from Schick (incase you really want a hair- free skin! hahaha), hair tie and pins.

Bring your big tote bag so it could carry your stuffs! In addition, you will need a beach blanket (mine is pink), you favorite sunglasses and a floppy hat to protect your face from the sun.

Time to play with colorful outfit! Any maxi dress, midi dress or even mini dress are allowed! Wear your favorite short, tanks, blouse and swimsuit. You can add accessories like big sunglasses, floppy hat, scarf, beaded bracelets and bangles, and so on. Don't forget to wear your lovely flip flop or thongs, and...... camera :p

You can decorate your nails too with bright colors. But this time i chose the neutral pallete and added stickers on it, still pretty right? :) 

Tips: bring some breezy and light material clothes with you.

Now, packing is no longer an exhausting time for you! Just bring what you need don't make yourself tired for stuffs you carry. Have fun!

Casual Day

 

Ever had yourself panicking on what to wear?

It happens to me ALWAYS. (yes, always). Girl's problem, never solved! :p we really have a lot of clothes in our wardrobe but still have no idea on what to wear.

Try my trick: try to put a pair of your favorite jeans and some white outfit. i picked my white chiffon sleeveless shirt and a dark blue skinny jeans. Just go with the light material, to suit Indonesian weather. Sleeveless shirt is a great example if you want to wear something casual, but still look neat at the same time. Wear it casually, or add blazer to formal occassions. This item is really versatile too!  add your favorite accessories! White and jeans never go wrong.

I got mine from Singapore a long time ago for only SGD 7! Exactly at Bugis Street. Best feeling is when you can buy somthing you like and it's good, in a such cheap price!

I love wearing heels. To add some color, i paired my outfit with a blue pumps from @menbeautyheels on Instagram. It has a shoelace in front, and the height is 8cm. It is super comfortable! They have various collections of shoes, such a heaven. The brand called Kvoll, a Korean shoes brand. Recommended.

Added a polkadot scarf to prevent boring style ;) I wanted something different than any other accessories, like a necklace for example. You should try! ;)

Rainy Season

Popped up in mind yesterday, the super comfortable outfit ever in the season here in Indonesia. Seems like every time i want to snuggle all over my blankets and get more and more sleep ;p

Mom bought the sweater at Matahari Department Store (@mataharideptstore) and surprisingly, it was the same pick with me! few months ago i almost buy this sweater, but i didn't proceed because i thought that, i will ask mom to buy. A month latter, i found the sweater on my mom's rack. Surprised! Mother- daughter's bond works. ;D

The material is so comfy, yet has a nice texture too. The fabric is soft, it warms me, but it doesn't make me feel any hot. Paired it with my black high- waisted  pants from (@sa_shhop). The pants is stretch! Love.

 My mom also bought me this shoes from Indonesia established local shoe brand called Ando Shoes. The shoes is very light, it feels so comfortable on my feet. Recommended shoes for going to school, college or a trip.

The Light and Casual Make-up Tutorial

Hello everyone, here i wanna share you some tutorial about my light and casual make up. NO eyeliner, no falsies, no heavy make-up. Hope this helps! <3 If you try this, let me know and drop the comments below or mention me at instagram @thelmakisela :)

The Make-up tools:

- Blush- on brush, eyebrow brush, eyeshadow brush

The Make-up:

- Revlon Color Stay Compact Powder

- Hallyu BB Cream (Korean brand)

- Relian Mascara in Black

- Etude Drawing Eyebrow (brown)

- Burt's Bees Replenishing Lipbalm

I love my NYX palette, it was a Christmas gift from my love. He knows make up! This one consists of eyeshadows, 2 colors blush-on, bronzer, 3 colors concealers, 4 colors eyebrow powder, and 4 colors of lipsticks. MAJOR LOVE. Can't stop wearing these for a year hahaha

STEPS

1. Put on your BB Cream. I am using Hallyu, a Korean brand BB Cream because the texture is very good and it doesn't make me look like i am wearing something in my face.

2. Swipe the loose powder

 

3. Put the coral blush-on on top of your apple cheek. Smile to get the best figure of your apple cheek!

4. Draw a line following your eyebrow shape. I am using this Etude Drawing Eyebrow because it is so handy, easy to use and a complete package. It has a brush in it!

PS: If you have thick eyebrow like i do, you can shape them first by trimming it or go to a wax salon. the arch should drop perfectly, arching perfectly so it can define and frame your face. Actually here, mine hasn't been shaped for 3 weeks, so it was kind of messed up eyebrow. But it is okay, it will be an example for you who hasn't done an eyebrow trimming before :)

 5. Fill your eyebrow with an eyebrow powder. Swipe lightly, and brush your eyebrow.

Here, i am using the darkest brown color because my hair is black. Don't go too over in brown if you have a dark black hair because it doesn't match beautifully.

oh by the way, i have a skin scar on my forehead, it was because the worst facial someone had ever done to me in my junior high school -.........-

6. Put the lightest pink color to all over your eyelid,

7. Swipe the purple color on your outer eyelid. This can make your eyes look bigger.

8. Put on a tangerine color at the center of eyelid.

 

9. Put your mascara on. You can use your most powerful mascara to make your lashes seem longer and thicker!

10. Instead of eyeliner (i apply eyeliner everywhere i go), now i want my eyes have some rest without eyeliner. Here is the trick: go for a black eyeshadow with a sharp brush! it will create smudgy greyish- black line that is not too obvious. This trick works when you don't want to use eyeliner, because eyeliner gives you more powerful and contrast black color.

11. LAST, LIPSTICK ON, LADIES
