Love for Indonesia

 

So, my online fashion brand  on Instagram (@amygostore) has launched some new arrivals to celebrate this year Eid Mubarak! I launched the traditional yet modern clothes, ias seen here, it's Kebaya. I am very sure that usually, girls are incomfortable wearing Kebaya because of the tight bustier (hurts sometimes), and the material of the fabric is not really fit for the weather (silk, tulle, etc).

So i managed some of Modern Kebaya on my online fashion brand AmyGo Store to release special collections. I think this Modern Kebaya is very comfortable because the material is cotton. The collections are available in short leeve and 3/4 sleeve too. And te most important, look at the EMBROIDERY!

This kind of embroidery usually called 'Motif Kaca' because like a mirror, the embroidery contains little some glittery/ shining material when you put the Kebaya under the good light. The embroidery is also very interesting because of the motive. It has some holes in the embroidery part. Too beautiful too be true!

So, now every woman can wear their Kebaya comfortably! And by the way, this piece is included with the inner. The inner was also embroidered too! The Kebaya drops naturally and fitted the body well. It doesn't hug you really tight (so you still can breath hahaha), but it also gives you nice and polite curves to be shown.

 

Since i was bringing the idea or Modernization to the traditional pieces, i wore my Kebaya here with a neon pencil skirt. I was too boring to pair it with Batik bottoms, so i thought that bright colors for Kebaya is a superb idea. Loving the color tone here! To neutralize the color tone, i wore a simple black pump shoes. Heels are created to make the ladies feel more confident with their postures and outfits... And heels never fail me :D

Last, a little acessories won't hurt ;) I wore my mom's blue chandelier earings and i love it to the core. It has simple shape and light on my ears. Plus, adding my Daniel Wellington watch on my wrist.

The Election for our Nation

4th of July is Unites State's independence day (as seen on my jacket ;p) We know, United States is well known as a democracy country, also with its liberalism. They really appreciate differences, they are also used to live in the plural neighborhood. Well, a case that a lot of Indonesian people need to learn i think ;)

Nowadays, people who talk about racism is no longer being appreciated by others. Why? Racism, is not really a thing anymore. Since the revolutionary public figure like Martin Luther King, Jr and Nelson Mandela shouted for the rights of the minority society, people got their eyes opened. why should we be bothered by other's ethics, religion, ideology, skin tone, and else? It is oldschool now....

Oh, my beloved country Indonesia will have the President election this 9th of July! Well, i decided from first i have chosen Jokowi-JK (of course, who else? ;) ). I watched the debates from candidates, and still, number 2 is the best so far. They have clear vision and mission, long term and short term plan, and the specified what are they going to ddo, example: Kartu Indonesia Sehat (Indonesia Health Card). They explained clearly, explicit,and going for certain directions. Meanwhile, the other candidate sometimes got angry quickly, though they are relevant too, their explanation is not really clear. They just mentioned "will", "want", and so on. So, Salam Dua Jari! :D

I was not only with Dita, i was also with my friend Cinthya (reach her through instagram @cinthyadevi). I managed AmyGo Fashion Store lookbok for this summer, and we have done the photoshoot very well. Thanks for both of you ! ;)

Annnddd..... Actually, my items on my body from head to toe belongs to Cinthya. We were grabbing stuffs from the closet and played dress up, and ask Dita for capture our narcism hehe (bet, other girl also do it!!!!)

 

Taking outfit posts is way more fun with friends, especially this crazy girls hahaha. I paired USA denim jacket, leather skirt and a beanie. Plus, adding an instant statement by this gold wedge sneakers. Oh one thing same about me and Cinthya, we ALWAYS LOVE to go to shopping to find some unique pieces of clothing at its lowest price. It became our happiness when we can say to others "Hey everyone, i got this pair of cutie shoes for only 85k!" and other girls might like "WHAAATTTTTT??!!!! I wan't some of course where'd you buy it?!!" Haahaha! it's our pleasure ;p

 

Cinthya also threw clothes and mixed it by herself. She has pretty taste too in fashion ;) she wore brown leather jacket, black bustier, and denim pencil skirt with the brown leather accent on waist. Heels were added, so this elongate the legs beautifully! All clothes here are unbranded too :)

We just realised that our outfit in these photos are similar. We wore denim and leather in the different ways! Fashion need to be fun and creative. If you feel like you wanna wear anything, just put it confidently. Your aura will enhance and inner beauty will pop! But of course, also remember that our whole outfit is eye-catching enough, but also has a harmony and suitable color tone. Do remember too, all accessorries are created to fill the emptiness of boring clothes. So use it for your better look!

I manage some of my fashion store's lookbook last time, and randomly i took outfit shots with friends! Well, since fashion is something fun to do, so this outfit below is not my real style, because this is just too quirky for me ;p though, i still love  it because i pair all of them without a doubt. Like "Yeah, i am into tshirts now, but also into midi skirts, and what can i do to finish the look? Add accessorries"

 

So i did this just for fun! and i think i brought some message in my outfit. See the 21 number on my tshirt? It represents the LEGAL AGE. And i have my dreams too, ready to be reached when i am 21! now i am 19, and it takes 2 more years for me to be in the legal age. This means i will be considered as adult more and more, more responsibilities, more independency, and more sucesses.

Well, i made my target and i wrote down all my dreams on piece of papers. You all should write your dreams too, and visualize it! The universe will concentrate to help us reach our goals and dreams if we visualize and know well what our dreams are.

 

And, i will tell you my dreams. By the end of 2014 ( December 2014) i will pay my own trip to Karimun Jawa Island, that is my closest dream ;) I will become a motivational speaker to others when i reach 20. My net sales on AmyGo Fashion Store will reach 30million. Also, i can take my family on vacation to Korea on December 2015. I will have my fashion store grow bigger and bigger, so that it can have its own flagship store (i predict this will happen at the beginning of 2016)

I will be a cafe owner, thematical cafe that everyone else hasn't seen before (this is still classified, i will not tell anyone about this hahaha), also, i will be a property investor on 2015. I have dreams, that my income is worth more than Rp. 30.000.000,- by the end of 2015.

I will go to Europe! this means will go to Paris, Amsterdam, England, Rome, Vatican, Switzerland, Belgium, and more. Of course, take my whole gfamily and be able to pay the trip as well. Get married in 25 ;p and my dream is when i and my future husband will choose the honeymoon destination freely without having any doubt about the bill! ;D

And, financial freedom at 23 :)

So happy that t-shirt will aways be our bestfriend, wearable, comfy, and got cool prints on it!

Let's talk about the outfit!
if you noticed, the skirts' inner is shorter than the outer skirt. I think, this kind of midi skirt will also accentuate your leg, show some skin inside without being too-much-skin-tone, and also will make your body shape classy like a lady. AND, this kind of skirt hide the big calf perfectly right? ;p

The thing you should note is, you gonna need some heels to make it more stand out. Wearing flats are so comfy and also stylish, and this kind of skirt also prety when paired with flats. But with heels, your body increases more, your body shape looks better, and let's make this skirt frill! i choose my blue heels, because nowadays, matching colors becomeing a bit boring sometimes! ;)

Lat touch. Adding some quirky stuffs like 'Obey' snapback, tin belt to make the waist look more interesting, and a watch.

Remember, write down your dreams, believe and live in it, pray for it everyday and every time, and the lastt..

I realize that i really rarely update my post hahaha... pardon me :(

But i come with a very interesting and exciting news!

I opened an online fashion store called AmyGo Fashion Store. It is still an Instagram based online shop, but of course i would like to expand this into website so i can reach all of you, customers, to feel extra pleasant and enjoyable to shop with AmyGo Fashion Store.

AmyGo Fashion Store has launched its first collection on Instagram @amygostore, and it consists of pretty bodycon dresses!! There are bright blue, lime green, shocking pink, black and white. All are pretty, and body conscious! You know, ladies always wanna look 'flattering and fashionable without end up like trying too hard"

Yellow Mellow, Salem Calm

Actually, not really my first post hahaha :D Since a looongg time ago i wanted to start a blog, especially talking about my passion in Fashion, besides business ;)

So now i'm a newbie blogger, i guess? will keep learning! I do a lot of stalking blogger's account in their blog or twitter or instagram, i found they had so much fun in it! Not easy to maintain a good and a recongnizable outfit. But i think if we do it because we love it, and it is our style,  it wouldn't be so stressful to do ;D

Outfit photos was taken during my high school year book photoshoot on April. My hair was still black back then, now mine is brown (not sure what's the name of the colour because when i went to the salon i pick 2 colors and told them to mix it. hehe ;) These photos were taken at the garden and me and my friends really forgot to put the essential and important thing: Mosquito anti lotion T.T So we went home with legs full of mosquito's bites. Uh you pity girls..

 

Decided to wear colorful outfit because the theme was "Picnic- Indonesian Food" so we took the pictures showing varieties of Indonesian food. Mine was pempek, and when the photoshoots are done, we are too excited to see the photo previews on camera and the pempek was left behind ;p

Chose the Yellow colored cardigan because it covers arm nicely and the bright colors really pop! Instead of mellow, we should be  happy and mostly in a good mood because you know, positive mind leads you for a brighter day! 

Also can't forget the dress, i remember when i bought it i was like 'oughh well this is not really me" but when i put it together with the cardigan, began to love it :p The salem colour is in soft hue, so will calm down the eyes because the yellow popped already. Be calm, because an empty positive calm mind and heart will prevent you from something you don't wan't to happen.  

Love the color combination of it and it gave me some girly attack feeling  hehe*.*

 Added a flowercrown which was my friend's, put that pinky butterfly earings.

So here comes the headband. It is from wire and colorful beads. Plus, a creme tiny belt to give more shape on my waist.

Last touch, put a satchel bag and sequin white wedges.

And by the way, this was a coincidence that all of my outfit here are unbranded except the wedges.

Cardigan, dress and bag was bought in Mangga Dua.

Wedges is from Buccheri.

Headband was my friend's handmade.

Lesson: Fashion doesn't always come with branded items or luxurious things. It comes in various brands,materials, fabrics, qualities, shapes, styles, and everything. Explore it!;)

Busssyyyyyyyy!!!!! but happy!

Hello again, after maybe a week i haven't post yet, it was such tiring week, never thought that i would be in that exciting dizzy ;D

well i joined Bussiness Plan competition which was held on 25-26 Ferbruary 2012 at Living World Mall Alam Sutera. It was on weekend, so it was very crowded. 

I also took Participant in Talkshow with Budiyanto Parma, the writer of Love Sucks (If you don't know anything about love) and it was such a great opportunity1 Thanks to my best school Stella Maris:* Talking about love in our young age, with Mr. Indri as moderator, we completely was talking about LOVE, something from the past still now still exist 0.0 It was on Saturday 26 Ferbruary 2012.

On that Satrurday also we (Me, Vania and Nita) became a finalist of BussinessPlan Competition so we need to open booth for our product. Our product's name is Variety Style Clothing Line (VSCL). We made plans that 1 cloth can be turn to over 24 models!!

There was from other school too, and 3 teams from Stella Maris BSD was also successfully get into final, there were Dicky's team and also Peter's team.

Forgot Something!! I slept at 1.30 midnight while Vania and Nita went back home at 12.00 midnight because we were preparing by ourselves what we should put on the booth. Besides, my mom was the one who sew our product and eventhough tailor also helped us, but those was haven't finish until the H-1 -____-

Mom sewed it by herself and i edited the presentation that we were going to present it on stage the next day. That day we were sooo sleepy, couldn't even keep our eyes open, but then, we have to finish it.

Loveliest mom ever. She also stays up late to hel us sewand everything. I see her tired face in this picture. Mamaaaa i send you bunch of my biggest hugs ever!!{}{}{}

So we all were very tired sleeping very late, but the next day we had to wake up in morning because the competition would start at 10.00 am, and we as participant must be on time and be there 2 hours before. 

So we did the presentation in the mall with the judges judging. We explain our product: A cloth that can be turned into 20/ more different models! My mom helped me for the design too, she is the talented mother ever:*

Right before up on stage we took a pray for a while. A pray really helps, because He is the Helper :) We took a deep breath and ensure we are captivate enough and ready. We neated ourselves and dressed up casually- professional look to bring a professional image.

We were pretty surprised that the judges looked excited too see our product when i demostrate how to style the cloth. We present our brand and the marketing techniques and all we can explain. The judges asked a lot of questions and we were happy that we can answer those questions.

We finished and we got down from the stage and waited for the announcement. We didn't expect too much that time because we know that other participants are also capable with their unique products and fresh ideafor their business plan. We got back to our booth and sold all our products *happiness overload* and sold the stuffs we brought such as makeup case, slippers, rings and bangles and etc.

THE ANNOUNCEMENT TIME COMES  and the MC began to call the third winner and they were not us. They called the second winner, and they were not us too.

Annnnnndddd.... GUESS WHAT. GUESS WHAT. GUESS WHAAATTT!!!

"The first winner of the business plan competition is variety Style Clothing Line!"

WHAAATTT!!!! WE JUMPED AND SCREAMED HAPPILY and everybody were watching us but hey, we don't care hahaha. We were too happy and excited, like "hey image now is number two, we just won dudeeee!!" And my mom was also screamed and jumped with my friends back there hahaha LOL!

Sorry for the blurry pics because my mom was too excited when she took this haha. And we won scholarships from universities, training program, bonus point reward to open an online shop in Rakuten, and the most excited prize was a trip to Universal Studios dor 2days wohoooooo!!!

BCSB bazaar: SELLING is our BIGGEST EXPERIENCE

Seminar BONG CHANDRA kali ini bertema ACCIDENTAL IDEA: bagaimana membuat sebuah ide kreatif menjadi peluang ;) Tema yang menarik! Tapi, disini saya bukan mengikuti bazaarnya, seperti yang pernah kami lakukan di seminar THE SCIENCE of LUCK (Februari 2011), tetapi kami BERJUALAN disana. ;)

Bong Chandra membuat program dimana kami bisa mempraktekkan ilmu- ilmu yang telah dipelajari di kelas BCSB.. Di seminar 2000 orang ini, , merupakan suatu kesempatan yang berharga dimana kita bisa menyalurkan semangat, ekspresi, daya jual, dan lain- lain.

Singkatnya, kami dibagi menjadi 6 Kelompok, kebetulan saya adalah ketua kelompok 2. Sebagai ketua, disini saya juga dilatih LEADERSHIP. Tidak mudah untuk menjadi seorang pemimpin yang baik, yang bisa mendengar kemauan anggotanya tapi tetap menyelaraskan dengan keputusan bertindak..

Kami sekelompok harus menentukan apa yang akan kita jual (tidak boleh food&beverages), akhirnya kami memutuskan untuk menjual sandaran punggung untuk kursi dan kaos import adidas. Dengan modal 1.000.000 yang diberi Coach Bong, kami harus memaksimalkan, melipatgandakan, menguasai modal tersebut sehingga kami memperoleh keuntungan.

You know what??

Kelompok saya berhasil menjual 20buah senderan kursi seharga rp.40.000 HABIS dan 18 potong kaos zopper adidas import di range RP.70.000- Rp.110.000... Dengan modal hanya Rp.943.000 saja, kami berhasil melipatgandakan uang tersebut menjadi keuntungan bersih Rp.1.946.000!! :D

Tetapi ada harga yang harus dibayar.. Awalnya, bahkan saya sendiri sudah takut barang tidak habis terjual, tapi saya tidak boleh memperlihatkan ketakutan tersebut di depan anggota saya.. Maka saat itu juga, saya mendesak semua anggota supaya menjual samapai habis. Ketika akhirnya kepepet, kami 6 kelompok menyatukan 'kegilaan' :) bisa diliat kegilaan kami di http://www.youtube.com/ search for BONG CHANDRA SCHOOL OF BILLIONAIRES PERFORMANCE !!

Disini betapa saya sadar bahwa menjadi seorang PEMIMPIN TANGGUH itu tidak mudah. Anda harus siap menghadapi kegagalan, anda harus siap mental, anda harus bisa meng-handle kelompok sebagaimana mestinya. Anda harus rela DITOLAK. Tidak jarang saat itu saat saya menawarkan barang, saya ditolak atau dicuekin. Tapi saat itu, hanya 1 yang perlu dilakukan= Putuskan Urat Malu Anda!" ;)

Menjadi pemimpin tidak perlu semuanya kita yang mengatur. Itulah fungsi anggota, menyampaikan ide sekaligus membantu ketua. Pemimpin tidak akan bisa berjalan sendiri tanpa anggota yang luar biasa!

Dan bahwa saya punya anggota yang semangatnya luarbiasa, tidak pernah menyerah, urat malu putus, dan keberanian, semua itu patut saya acungi jempol.. Meskipun saya tahu kinerja kelompok masih perlu ditingkatkan, namun apa yang kelompok saya lakukan is GOOD! Saya juga belajar, justru pemimpinlah yang harus mendengar dan melayani anggota, bukan sebaliknya.

Hari itu adalah salah 1 pengalaman terbaik yang pernah saya dapatkan selama ini :)
