The Light and Casual Make-up Tutorial

Hello everyone, here i wanna share you some tutorial about my light and casual make up. NO eyeliner, no falsies, no heavy make-up. Hope this helps! <3 If you try this, let me know and drop the comments below or mention me at instagram @thelmakisela :)

The Make-up tools:

- I am using Victoria's Secret powder brush

- Blush- on brush, eyebrow brush, eyeshadow brush

The Make-up:

- Revlon Color Stay Compact Powder

- Revlon Compact Green Palette Eyeshadow

- Hallyu BB Cream (Korean brand)

- Relian Mascara in Black

- Etude Drawing Eyebrow (brown)

- Burt's Bees Replenishing Lipbalm

- HEMA Mousturising Lipstick

- Japanese brand Coral Blush- on

- NYX Waiting for Tonight Limited Edition Makeup set -

I love my NYX palette, it was a Christmas gift from my love. He knows make up! This one consists of eyeshadows, 2 colors blush-on, bronzer, 3 colors concealers, 4 colors eyebrow powder, and 4 colors of lipsticks. MAJOR LOVE. Can't stop wearing these for a year hahaha

STEPS

1. Put on your BB Cream. I am using Hallyu, a Korean brand BB Cream because the texture is very good and it doesn't make me look like i am wearing something in my face.

2. Swipe the loose powder

 

3. Put the coral blush-on on top of your apple cheek. Smile to get the best figure of your apple cheek!

4. Draw a line following your eyebrow shape. I am using this Etude Drawing Eyebrow because it is so handy, easy to use and a complete package. It has a brush in it!

PS: If you have thick eyebrow like i do, you can shape them first by trimming it or go to a wax salon. the arch should drop perfectly, arching perfectly so it can define and frame your face. Actually here, mine hasn't been shaped for 3 weeks, so it was kind of messed up eyebrow. But it is okay, it will be an example for you who hasn't done an eyebrow trimming before :)

 5. Fill your eyebrow with an eyebrow powder. Swipe lightly, and brush your eyebrow.

Here, i am using the darkest brown color because my hair is black. Don't go too over in brown if you have a dark black hair because it doesn't match beautifully.

oh by the way, i have a skin scar on my forehead, it was because the worst facial someone had ever done to me in my junior high school -.........-

6. Put the lightest pink color to all over your eyelid,

7. Swipe the purple color on your outer eyelid. This can make your eyes look bigger.

8. Put on a tangerine color at the center of eyelid.

 

9. Put your mascara on. You can use your most powerful mascara to make your lashes seem longer and thicker!

10. Instead of eyeliner (i apply eyeliner everywhere i go), now i want my eyes have some rest without eyeliner. Here is the trick: go for a black eyeshadow with a sharp brush! it will create smudgy greyish- black line that is not too obvious. This trick works when you don't want to use eyeliner, because eyeliner gives you more powerful and contrast black color.

11. LAST, LIPSTICK ON, LADIES

Paisley x WHITE

 

Hello everyone! what do you think about mixing paisley pattern on white? Here, i have a very unique top. The paisley pattern consists in bright colors such as purple and yellow. Usually paisley prints come from earthy color tones. The top is unbranded, i found it somewhere at a store in Jakarta (i can't remember). you can try mixing ethnic patterns with some monochrome colors, it is an instant ligh up for the outfit!

How is the skort? I am preparing this one for the upcoming collection at AmyGo Fashion store ;)

It looks chic, neat and casual at the same time.

I love my new block heel sandal from New Look. It does not too high towering, and your ankle and fingers wouldn't scratched or cramp for wearing it! ;D Yet, the strap makes the feet look longer and slimmer. I DO LOVE HEELS. It was available in powder blue, pink, and nude color in the store. I couldn't decide at the first time what color i shoud use. I think i fell  in love for all colors! >.<

The Blooming Effect

 

I feel like i am blooming! I feel so blessed everyday because God always give the best. His love and compassion never fails ;)

It was a photo shoot, not an outfit shoot. So i just used my favorite jeans and my simple pumps (again!) And peplum looks great with skinny pants for casual day and walking errands. I love how the floral pops on the black color, yet the floral prints are not so mainstream feeling summer everyday!

The Flattering Combo

These photos are actually belong to the new arrival of my online fashion store AmyGo (instagram: @amygostore) ;D I personally pick the clothes based on my style and my taste. Hope these suits everyone of you!

I love this leather skirt because of the material is soft and light. Yet it is not really too short, it is just fit. The flare makes an attractive silhouette of the body. Usually girls (us) want to wear clothes that can make us look thinner, yes? ;D

The idea for mixing it with a super bright red lace top was just in a blink! I didn't know why i had choose this outfit, but fashion is our runway, our experiment. It seems rare for seeing lace and leather together, since the lace fabrics are correlated with girly and feminine, and leathers are correlated with tough and biker, or even mafias (we see a lot of TV series and movies with mafias in their leather jackets and pants ;p).

The tips:

1. Laces are usually come in pastels colors and sweet. For now, we can try something different. you can use bold colors on leather, like red, electric blue, shocking pink, or even yellow.

2. Make sure the lace for not being too much, so you can make a statement with your leather item.

3. Do accessorizing. Not in a big gold chained necklace or big bangles, just try something simple. For example, you can wear a statement necklace with the same color of your leather/ lace clothes. If the leather is black, you can use black necklaces.

My black pump shoes never leaves me! hahaha. The kind of shoes that matches with almost every occasions. Family dinner, a date, casual day, and so on. My boyfriend is the one who taught me to buy this kind of shoes! He even chose and bought this as a present <3 the height should not be really tall, unless you can walk on it without a pitiful face. But for special events, do have a pair with >7cm black pumps with stiletto heels! It will elongate your legs and.... SEXY legs. hahaha!

I like the simple outfit idea :) let the bright color and the fabric do the talk.

Finally, got a chance to update my blog. This outfit was taken when i went to the mall with my friend Angela. on that day, i decided to wear something comfortable, yet casual too. And this stripes tank came across my mind. At first, i just wanted to go only with the tank. But then i changed mind, i think it was good too to put a cropped denim vest as an outer :)

By the way, we took this pics in the fitting room. Sorry not sorry ;p

Wore my mom's sweatpants and a comfy flats so he shopping day wouldn't be ruined by bruises on ankle because of heels, or being too busy with skirts to maintain our good manner stting position hahaha.

I just love the color combo. Denim + black and white + neutral colors + adding some pop color like tosca. Well, i got this sling bag from an exhibition and i am forget what the brand was. Not too much accesorries, just a little touch of black beaded necklace, watch, and sunnies.

I wish i can get myself a high resolution camera in order to give the better quality picture. Will make some money and save them for new camera! :D and gotta pay attention to some details of the item i am wearing. Details do matters ;)

Hello peeps!

This was my outfit to BCSB (Bong Chandra School of Billionaires batch 1-9) reunion at Bourbon Coffee and Eatery at Mall Alam Sutera. I attended the reunion with this outfit because it is casual, comfy yet stylish too :D

Bourbon Coffee and Eatery is located at Mall Alam Sutera main lobby. It belongs to our BCSB founder, teacher and motivator, Bong Chandra. The cafe is very chic, with cozy interior and mural paintings! Also, they provide tasteful coffees and nice pastries! 

Truth to be told, Bong Chandra now is developing many projects in property, such as Brooklyn Apartment at Alam Sutera (sold within only 45 days, amazing isn't it?), Ubud Village, and now currently developing Spring Wood Residence Apartment (a very strategic property, very close to the new Binus University). Did these outfit shots with my sister Nivelle (instagram: @artisticscribbles). She also really wants to blog about her passion about art, craft and drawings, but when she was trying to make the blog site with email and everything, she found it hard because she hasn't 17 years old yet. she told me she wanted to make video tutorial about crafts and DIY Projects. She is way too creative. she wants to blog later and i promised her i will help her make some photo shoots of her DIY. Oh anyway, i found this cute sunnies at New Look at Mall Alam Sutera. After the reunion, my eyes saw the store and *yahhhh girl's calling, hahaha* decided to take a look inside the store. Will post it later on next blogspot :)

Afternoon Stroll 

Roll the denim up Ladies!

That day, i was so bored for dressing up girlish and feminine style. So i just looked into my closet and found this pair of ripped boyfriend jeans. I like the simple ripping, not way too much. Decided to wear bright colors and red was a great idea ;) Kind of a lazy day to wear a lot of accesorries. So i just wore my watch, sunnies, earings and a basic black pump shoes. Hands down, comfiest black pump shoes from Payless! (and it was a gift from my lovely boyfriend too ;D) By the way, got this cute red turtle neck top at a very small counter at small mall here near my house. I love the idea of cheap and a very satisfying shopping experience!;D i have been always a fan of affordable clothes but with a good quality. Guess? This turtleneck was only IDR 20.000. I SWEAR hahahaha!

The most important, always wear outfits that describe your mood and yourself. Wear the most comfortable style and clothes for you. It is very fun thing to do! ;)

The jeans used to be my mom's, but she was no longer like it anymore and she made the jeans into my size. It was a wide pipe jeans, but mom turned it skinnier shape. So here it is, a little bit baggy, a little bit skinny! LOVE. <3

Shirt Dress!

 

Loving my shirt dress! It is actually a shirt but can be worn as a dress too! I love how this simple piece gives a shape with belt but stay in neat and classic style. i got this shirtdress somewhere in Tanah Abang ;D I always been a fan of shopping for trendy fashion outfits but in cheap price! Here, my shirt dress was below Rp.60.000,- and i forgot how much the exact price were ;)

The plaid pattern also an interesting thing to be seen, since it has bright color hue and vibrant. Big paid pattern will give some more wider effect to the thin body ;)

Thin belt is a must for woman. It gives shape to waist and very comfortable to wear. Also, it comes with many variety of designs, shapes, colors and materials! Got myself a nude thin belt to complete this look.

For hair, simply tied up with bobbypins and let it drop naturally. I cut my bangs to the flat bangs and all of sudden a lot of my friends said "what were you thinking THELMA?!" hahaha. It was very boring to have side swept bangs only, so i decided to make some make- over to my hair, and instant coolness! *wink;)*

Decided to pair the shirt dress with brown heeled ankle boots. I got this pair from Iconinety. You can find the store in Summarecon Mal Serpong (SMS), TangCity Mall, Emporium Pluit Mal, etc. tips for wearing ankle boots, wear it with confidence! I know some people here might think that ankle boots are usually worn when we are abroad, but hey, FASHION is the real experiment of yourself, your own runway of fashion show. ;)

Anyway, the boots elongate my legs so good and gave fresh idea for the shirtdress. The dress itself can go casually or even for formal ocassion. For formal look, just add blazer and pump heels. Voila!

And now i am currently on my study during final exam week. This third semester went very crazy with the subjects and i think i am gonna prepare myself for an excellent mark! Let's do some mre pray and more hardwork!!
